Install the Android app

With the app, TV and radio open in one tap from your phone’s home screen. It is free. Take your time: each step is explained below.

The steps, one at a time

1. Download the file

   Tap the “Download the app” button. The phone saves a file named tadaksahak-tv.apk. If a message asks you to confirm, tap “Download” or “Download anyway”. Wait until the download is finished.

2. Open the file

   Tap “Open” at the bottom of the screen, or the “Download complete” notification. If you cannot find it: open the “Files” app, then “Downloads”, and tap tadaksahak-tv.apk.

3. Allow the installation (first time only)

   The phone may show a security message about unknown apps. This is normal: the app does not come from the Play Store. Tap “Settings”, turn on “Allow from this source”, then go back with the arrow.

4. Tap “Install”

   Wait a few seconds. If Google Play Protect shows a warning, choose the option that lets you install anyway; its name varies between phones.

5. Open the app

   Tap “Open”. The Tadaksahak TV icon is now on the home screen, with your other apps.

The installation banner stays on the website until the app has been opened at least once on this phone.
